Punjab National Bank, PNB Credit Card Devaluation 2024

Published on

Effective from September 1, 2024, the value of Reward Points earned through PNB Credit Cards has been devalued. Previously, one Reward Point was equivalent to ₹0.50, but it has now been reduced to ₹0.25. This marks a notable reduction for PNB credit cardholders, as the rewards offered were already modest and have now diminished further. However, any outstanding Reward Points as of August 31, 2024, will retain their original value, ensuring no loss for cardholders on their existing points.

  • Previous Reward Point Value ₹0.50
  • New Reward Point Value ₹0.25

How to Check PNB Credit Card Reward Point Balance?

There are several ways to check your outstanding Reward Point balance. You can log in to PNB Rewardz via the PNB website or app, or by calling customer care at 1800-572-9500. Cardholders can also check their Reward Points directly through the PNB Rewardz platform.

This change is significant for all PNB Credit Cardholders, as the value of Reward Points earned has been halved, dropping from ₹0.50 to ₹0.25. However, cardholders with outstanding Reward Points can rest assured that their points will be adjusted to maintain their original value. For those applying for a Punjab National Bank Credit Card now, it’s important to note that the points earned going forward will be worth less than they were prior to September 1, 2024.
