HDFC Bank is gearing up to launch a new credit card under its flagship Infinia brand – the Infinia Bharat Credit Card. Recent updates, including changes in the HDFC Add-on Credit Card forms and the addition of an enrollment link for Club Marriott membership, have sparked speculation and excitement around this upcoming product.
What is HDFC Infinia Bharat Credit Card?
The Infinia Bharat card has been surfacing across multiple platforms in recent weeks. Initially spotted on HDFC’s add-on card application forms and later on Club Marriott enrollment forms, it has now appeared on the bank’s website and the SmartBuy Savings Calculator, confirming its imminent launch.
Industry chatter suggests that Infinia Bharat will be the RuPay variant of the premium HDFC Infinia Credit Card, marking a significant development in the Indian credit card space, as high-end RuPay credit cards are still relatively rare.

Expected Features and Benefits
While the overall offerings are expected to align with the original Infinia card, the RuPay-powered variant will likely include features tailored for UPI transactions. Key expected benefits include:
- Complimentary Club Marriott membership for the first year
- 2+1 nights complimentary stay and 1+1 buffet at select ITC Hotels
- Global airport lounge access at over 1,000 lounges
- Six free golf games per quarter across premium golf courses
- 5Reward Points per ₹150 spent on eligible transactions
It is unlikely that the card will offer the standard 3.33% reward rate on UPI spends, which suggests that HDFC may introduce a different rewards structure exclusive to the Infinia Bharat card. This move indicates that the card will not just be a RuPay clone of the existing Infinia but a special edition designed with unique benefits linked to RuPay’s capabilities.
As of now, details regarding the annual fee, complete features, and rewards on UPI transactions remain undisclosed, but the official launch is expected soon.
With this addition, HDFC enthusiasts can look forward to two upcoming variants under the Infinia portfolio: HDFC Infinia Reserve and the much-anticipated HDFC Infinia Bharat.
